What is Mind Body Connection?

The mind body connection is the link between our physical health and emotional health. It is the idea that our thoughts, attitude and behaviours can influence our physical well-being.


How fascinating is it to think that the sub-conscious part of our mind tells our lungs to breathe and our heart to beat. We go about our day without giving a second thought to all the things our mind is instructing our body to do at this deep sub-conscious level. This is one part of our mind body connection.

I am sure there are times where you have experienced this connection mind body first hand. Maybe your mouth has watered when you have been thinking about eating your favourite dessert or you have felt butterflies in your stomach when you have thought about someone or your hands have started sweating or shaking before you give a presentation.
